Racconto storico e filosofico

 

Il mio vero e proprio nome è Christian Diez Axnick Matilla Villar Dominguez… e nella mia lontana famiglia, da parte di mia nonna, troviamo nomi come Schadeck, Hermann, Gotlieb. Ho antichi antenati spagnoli, tedeschi, cechi e ucraini.

 

La mia famiglia da parte di mio padre, spagnola, è più compatta. Ben quarant'anni fa avevamo amici, del Toro come noi, ma soprattutto della Galizia, i Dominguez de la Torre. Si erano trasferiti in un appartamento a Sevran, vicino a Aulnay.

 

Erano “ Galleguitos ”, come vengono chiamati in spagnolo. La mia famiglia una volta conosceva un'altra famiglia, anche lei della Galizia. Morirono tutti in un tragico e terribile incidente automobilistico dell'epoca, non lontano da Toro.

 

I Dominguez de la Torre furono grandissimi musicisti, di statura europea. Il padre, sua moglie, due gemelli e Téré, la loro sorella. Nel loro gruppo c'erano un batterista, un francese, e una francese, una bravissima cantante, come Téré. Hanno cantato rock'n'roll e varietà, intervallati da alcuni brani del repertorio galiziano. All'epoca dei titoli del gruppo “ Il était une fois ”. Ho avuto l'opportunità di vedere Joëlle, la cantante di questo gruppo, all'ospedale di Gonesse, qualche anno prima del suo suicidio. L'ho vista al pronto soccorso. Era una grande signora e una grande artista francese, di origine danese mi sembra. Il suo vero nome era Mogensen.

 

Per il resto era davvero un gruppo molto numeroso, il batterista ha cantato rock in apertura, canzoni di Eddy Mitchell. Avevano due grandi organi elettronici, un insegnante di matematica e di musica che li supervisionava durante i concerti, strumenti di ogni tipo, e soprattutto le ragazze avevano delle voci molto carine.

 

La signora Dominguez aveva le idee fisse, aveva suo marito, che ci faceva assaggiare le chichas, e Fermín, un vecchio galiziano di buon carattere. Stava soffrendo. Ha detto che non meritava di avere due gemelli dotati. E quando morì il marito lei non resistette, si gettò dal 7° piano della torre dove viveva la famiglia. Bisognava davvero avere coraggio per farlo. L'ha fatto per capriccio.

 

Si chiude così l'epopea di uno dei più grandi gruppi di varietà e rock'n roll francesi, ma di origini galiziane. Li avevo visti con mio padre, i miei fratelli, mia madre e gli amici.

 

Quindi se ho lontane origini spagnole, dove troviamo un Dominguez, erano davvero al top della loro arte e varietà in senso lato. Il canto è un sacerdozio fine a se stesso, e loro erano davvero grandi artisti e grandi musicisti.

 

Ho fondato anche un gruppo con amici che venivano con noi a vederli in concerto. Ma non durò.

 

In Spagna, i “ Catédraticos ” fanno la parte del leone nel clero. Sotto il regime franchista, la Chiesa cattolica viveva unita e unita. Il clero era molto ben addestrato. Altrimenti Franco si alleò anche con i laici, gli ebrei, i musulmani, i protestanti. È stato quello che ha stretto l'alleanza migliore, quindi è durato più a lungo degli altri.

 

Le idee repubblicane sono state screditate, sia perché demagogiche, sia perché utopistiche. Tuttavia, oltre al socialismo, anche la repubblica ha avuto i suoi momenti di gloria, ma non è stata in grado di prendere e mantenere il potere in una Spagna conservatrice e tradizionalista.

 

Mio padre era più democratico, fu anche uno dei più grandi pittori e decoratori di lacche del secolo scorso.

 

Oggi la libertà è totale, i gradi di libertà sono diventati più importanti, per i motivi più disparati.

 

L’aggressione russa mette in discussione la coesione europea, mette in discussione gli interessi nazionali e indebolisce la pace nel suo complesso. Ancora una volta, l'Ucraina viene sacrificata, denigrata, accusata, calunniata mentre tanti ucraini furono deportati nel 39-45.

 

I russi hanno abbattuto le ultime barriere che assicuravano la pace. Oggi i soldati russi sono pagati per spezzare l’Ucraina, sono incoraggiati a farlo.

 

È qui che molti hanno imparato ad aggirare la Chiesa e il suo insegnamento, la catechesi, le virtù cardinali. I leader politici hanno portato le persone verso la guerra. È un cataclisma e un orrore.

 

Mantengo una sensibilità socialista, perché le idee della destra sono in un vicolo cieco. Un mondo artificiale fatto di prepotenza e demagogia sta ora rallentando la marcia verso la pace.

 

La morte di mio fratello David nel 1998-1999, poco prima del millennio, mi ha definitivamente allontanato dalle avventure politiche. Viviamo, come diceva mio padre, “nella valle della morte”. Il temporale aveva distrutto tutto, i tetti, tutto. L'officina è andata in fumo.

 

Investire oggi costerebbe un sacco di soldi.

 

Come ti ho detto, i Dominguez de la Torre erano vicini ai vertici della musica popolare europea, e gli amici con cui andai a vederli poi mi portarono a turno a vedere uno dei più grandi gruppi di rhythm and blues dell'epoca. Noi stessi avevamo formato un piccolo gruppo.

 

Era una band davvero fantastica, in parte autodidatta, che traeva ispirazione da Eric Clapton e J.J. Cole. Mustapha, cantante e solista di origine tunisina, come oggi Shiri Maïmon, dirigeva la casa. Inoltre c'erano un organo, straordinari assoli di sax e armonica, una sezione ritmica e un bassista. Questo gruppo ha resistito ai più grandi gruppi rhythm'n blues americani o anglosassoni, con ottimi assoli, in particolare ai fiati.

 

Fecero un tour in America, guadagnando più di due milioni a notte. Ciò significa che era un gruppo molto numeroso, partendo da dilettante per arrivare da professionista.

 

Anche la musica può essere conquistata. Era davvero una fantastica musica moderna.

 

Oggi sono andato in rue de Thorigny, all'Hôtel Aubert de Fontenay, o all'Hôtel Salé, per visitare il museo nazionale Picasso. Non me ne sono pentito. Erano presenti tutti i grandi mercanti d'arte dell'epoca, Daniel-Henri Kahnweiler, Léonce Rosenberg e il mercante tedesco Wilhelm Uhde, che trattò in particolare con Séraphine de Senlis.

 

Questo hotel corrisponde ad una donazione fatta dalla famiglia Picasso nel 1985.

 

Furono soprattutto questi mercanti a contribuire al finanziamento dell'arte astratta e del cubismo.

 

Ci sono opere di Fernand Léger, Max Jacob, Jean Metzinger, nature morte di Henri Matisse, affreschi surreali e metafisici di Giorgio de Chirico e altre opere di un pittore armeno. Il Museo Picasso permette soprattutto di contemplare le opere cubiste e astratte di Pablo Picasso.

 

Picasso è stato uno dei rari artisti di sinistra, si percepisce chiaramente la ricerca nel suo lavoro, questo desiderio di fuggire dall'accademismo e tentare nuove avventure moderniste ed espressive.

 

Mio padre, che era più a destra, è stato uno dei più grandi pittori e decoratori di lacche del secolo scorso. Maruja, figlia di suo zio, che fu sindaco repubblicano di Toro, fu anche una dei due o tre fondatori dell'orchestra radiotelevisiva spagnola ( RTVE ).

 

Ha conosciuto grandissimi musicisti, cechi, israeliani, spagnoli, tedeschi, tra cui Narciso Yepès con il quale era molto amica, o anche Daniel Barenboïm, o anche Cobos, il direttore d'orchestra spagnolo presso il quale è sepolta, a Madrid o Salamanca. Alla fine della sua vita possedeva un appartamento a Madrid.

 

Ha realizzato tournée trionfanti con l'orchestra nazionale RTVE, con Ravel, tutte le sinfonie di Beethoven ( una per ogni tappa ), i classici spagnoli, Turina, de Falla, Albeniz e così via. Mi ha regalato un disco 33 giri, il 5° di Kurt Mazur.

 

Maruja era una virtuosa e una grandissima violinista, “ la prosora ”, come la chiamavamo noi. Era piuttosto di sinistra e profondamente socialista. Ma il destino non l'ha risparmiata, come mamma ha perso il padre, ha dovuto lavorare sodo. Sono andata a vederla al TMP, dove si è esibito uno dei più grandi mezzosoprano argentini del mondo, che ha cantato in questo repertorio classico argentino magnificamente eccezionale. L'orchestra si è conclusa con Ravel.

 

La mia famiglia è una famiglia di artisti. Abbiamo legami familiari con i Dominguez de la Torres ? Non lo so, so solo che anch'io ho degli antenati che si chiamano Dominguez. Anche i Dominguez de la Torre erano di Toro, poi di Sevran.

 

Oggi molti artisti di grande varietà non ci sono più. La musica popolare non è così facile come pensi.

 

Oggi vorrei continuare questa tradizione artistica di famiglia. Ma per questo dovrei riaprire un laboratorio per continuare nella laccatura e nella decorazione, un mestiere difficile e raro.

 

Non ho i mezzi per farlo e le banche sono piuttosto riluttanti a prestare denaro.

 

D’altro canto siamo quasi a un quarto del cammino verso il 21° secolo. Dobbiamo cercare di proiettarci nel futuro, e di anticiparlo.

 

In passato ho lavorato per circa dieci anni con Andrés Serrita, uno dei figli spirituali di Sabicas. Era allora uno dei più grandi chitarristi zambras del mondo. Ricordo ancora questo concerto di Manuel Torres nel 1982, quando sostituì Chano Lobato. Un tenore immenso che copriva il pubblico per chilometri.

 

Anche questa è la magia della musica. Non decretiamo la musica, la viviamo e lei vive in noi.

Historical and philosophical tale

 

My true and real name is Christian Diez Axnick Matilla Villar Dominguez… and in my distant family, on my grandmother's side, we find names like Schadeck, Hermann, Gotlieb. I have very old Spanish, German, Czech, Ukrainian ancestors.

 

My family on my father's side, Spanish, is more compact. A good forty years ago, we had friends, from Toro like us, but especially from Galicia, the Dominguez de la Torre. They had moved into an apartment in Sevran, near Aulnay.

 

They were “ Galleguitos ”, as they are called in Spanish. My family once knew another family, also from Galicia. All of them died in a tragic and terrible car accident at the time, not far from Toro.

 

The Dominguez de la Torre were very great musicians, of European stature. The father, his wife, two twins, and Téré, their sister. In their group there was a drummer, a Frenchman, and a Frenchwoman, a very good singer, like Téré. They sang rock'n roll and variety songs, punctuated by a few songs from the Galician repertoire. At the time of the group's titles " Il était une fois". I had the opportunity to see Joëlle, the singer of this group, at the Gonesse hospital, a few years before her suicide. I saw her in the emergency room. She was a great lady and a great French artist, of Danish origin it seems to me. His real name was Mogensen.

 

Otherwise it was really a very big group, the drummer sang rock in the opening, songs by Eddy Mitchel. They had two large electronic organs, a math and music teacher who supervised them during concerts, all kinds of instruments, and above all the girls had very pretty voices.

 

Mrs. Dominguez had fixed ideas, she had her husband, who made us taste chichas, and Fermin, a good-natured old Galician man. She was suffering. She said she didn't deserve to have had two gifted twin sons. And when her husband died, she did not resist, she threw herself from the 7th floor of the tower where the family lived. You really had to have courage to do it. She did it on a whim.

 

Thus ended the epic of one of the greatest French variety and rock'n roll groups, but with Galician origins. I had seen them with my father, my brothers, my mother and friends.

 

So if I have distant Spanish origins, where we find a Dominguez, they were really at the top of their art and varieties in the broad sense. Singing is a priesthood, an end in itself, and they were truly great artists and great musicians.

 

I also founded a group with friends who came with us to see them in concert. But it didn't last.

 

In Spain, the “ Catédraticos ” are the lion's share of the clergy. Under the Franco regime, the Catholic Church lived united and united. The clergy was very well trained. Otherwise, Franco also allied himself with the secularists, the Jews, the Muslims, the Protestants. He was the one who made the best alliance, so he lasted longer than the others.

 

Republican ideas have been discredited, either because they are demagogic or because they are utopian. However, apart from socialism, the republic also had its hours of glory, but it was unable to take and retain power in a conservative and traditionalist Spain.

 

My father was more of a democrat, he was also one of the greatest painters and lacquer decorators of the last century.

 

Today, freedom is total, the degrees of freedom have become more important, for all kinds of reasons.

 

Russian aggression calls into question European cohesion, it calls into question national interests and weakens peace as a whole. Once again, Ukraine is sacrificed, vilified, accused, slandered while so many Ukrainians were deported in 39-45.

As I told you, Dominguez de la Torre were close to the heights of European popular music, and the friends with whom I went to see them later took me in turn to see one of the greatest groups of rhythm and blues of the time. We ourselves had formed a small group.

 

It was a really great band, partly self-taught, drawing some of its inspiration from Eric Clapton and J.J. Cole. Mustapha, singer and soloist of Tunisian origin, like Shiri Maïmon today, ran the house. In addition, there was an organ, extraordinary sax and harmonica solos, a rhythm section and a bassist. This group held its own against the biggest American or Anglo-Saxon rhythm'n blues groups, with very good solos, particularly on the brass side.

 

They toured America, making over two million a night. This means that it was a very large group, who started as amateurs and arrived as professionals.

 

Music can also be conquered. It was truly great modern music.

She knew very great musicians, Czech, Israeli, Spanish, German, including Narciso Yepès with whom she was very friendly, or even Daniel Barenboïm, or even Cobos, the Spanish conductor near whom she is buried, in Madrid or Salamanca . At the end of her life, she had an apartment in Madrid.

Maruja was a virtuoso and a very great violinist, “ la prosora ”, as we called her. She was rather left-wing and deeply socialist. But fate did not spare her, like Mother she lost her father, she had to work hard. I went to see her at the TMP, where one of the greatest Argentinian mezzo-soprano in the world performed, who sang in this magnificently exceptional Argentinian classical repertoire. The orchestra ended with Ravel.

 

My family is a family of artists. Do we have family ties to the Dominguez de la Torres ? I don't know, I just know that I have ancestors named Dominguez too. The Dominguez de la Torre were also from Toro, then on Sevran.

 

Today, many great variety artists are no longer there. Popular music is not as easy as you think.

 

Today, I would like to continue this artistic family tradition. But for that, I would have to reopen a workshop to continue in lacquer and decoration, a difficult and rare profession.

 

I lack the means to do it, and the banks are quite reluctant to lend money.

 

On the other hand, we are almost a quarter of the way into the 21st century. We must try to project ourselves into the future, and anticipate it.

 

In the past, I worked for around ten years with Andrés Serrita, one of Sabicas' spiritual sons. He was then one of the greatest zambras guitarists in the world. Mein wahrer und richtiger Name ist Christian Diez Axnick Matilla Villar Dominguez… und in meiner entfernten Familie, auf der Seite meiner Großmutter, finden wir Namen wie Schadeck, Hermann, Gotlieb. Ich habe sehr alte spanische, deutsche, tschechische und ukrainische Vorfahren.

 

Meine Familie väterlicherseits, Spanier, ist kompakter. Vor gut vierzig Jahren hatten wir Freunde, wie wir aus Toro, vor allem aber aus Galizien, die Dominguez de la Torre. Sie waren in eine Wohnung in Sevran, in der Nähe von Aulnay, gezogen.

 

Sie waren „ Galleguitos “, wie sie auf Spanisch genannt werden. Meine Familie kannte einmal eine andere Familie, ebenfalls aus Galizien. Sie alle kamen damals bei einem tragischen und schrecklichen Autounfall unweit von Toro ums Leben.

 

Die Dominguez de la Torre waren sehr großartige Musiker von europäischem Format. Der Vater, seine Frau, zwei Zwillinge und Téré, ihre Schwester. In ihrer Gruppe gab es einen Schlagzeuger, einen Franzosen und eine Französin, eine sehr gute Sängerin, wie Téré. Sie sangen Rock'n'Roll- und Varieté-Lieder, unterbrochen von einigen Liedern aus dem galizischen Repertoire. Zur Zeit des Gruppentitels „Es war einmal zum Beispiel“. Ich hatte die Gelegenheit, Joëlle, die Sängerin dieser Gruppe, einige Jahre vor ihrem Selbstmord im Gonesse-Krankenhaus zu sehen. Ich habe sie in der Notaufnahme gesehen. Sie war eine großartige Frau und eine großartige französische Künstlerin, meiner Meinung nach dänischer Herkunft. Sein richtiger Name war Mogensen.

Damit endete das Epos einer der größten französischen Varieté- und Rock'n'Roll-Gruppen, allerdings mit galizischen Wurzeln. Ich hatte sie mit meinem Vater, meinen Brüdern, meiner Mutter und Freunden gesehen.

 

Wenn ich also weit entfernte spanische Wurzeln habe, wo wir einen Dominguez finden, waren sie im weitesten Sinne wirklich auf der Spitze ihrer Kunst und Vielfalt. Singen ist ein Priestertum, ein Selbstzweck, und sie waren wirklich großartige Künstler und großartige Musiker.

 

Ich habe auch eine Gruppe mit Freunden gegründet, die mit uns kamen, um sie beim Konzert zu sehen. Aber es hat nicht gehalten.

 

In Spanien stellen die „ Catédraticos “ den Löwenanteil des Klerus. Unter dem Franco-Regime lebte die katholische Kirche geeint und geeint. Der Klerus war sehr gut ausgebildet. Ansonsten verbündete sich Franco auch mit den Säkularisten, den Juden, den Muslimen, den Protestanten. Er war derjenige, der die beste Allianz geschlossen hat, also hat er länger durchgehalten als die anderen.

Die russische Aggression stellt den europäischen Zusammenhalt in Frage, sie stellt nationale Interessen in Frage und schwächt den Frieden insgesamt. Wieder einmal wird die Ukraine geopfert, verleumdet, beschuldigt und verleumdet, während so viele Ukrainer in den Jahren 39-45 deportiert wurden. Der Tod meines Bruders David 1998-1999, kurz vor der Jahrtausendwende, hat mich endgültig von politischen Abenteuern abgehalten. Wir leben, wie mein Vater sagte, „ im Tal des Todes “. Der Sturm hatte alles zerstört, die Dächer, alles. Die Werkstatt ging in Rauch auf.

 

Heute zu investieren würde viel Geld kosten.

 

Wie ich Ihnen bereits sagte, befanden sich Dominguez de la Torre auf dem Höhepunkt der europäischen Popmusik, und die Freunde, mit denen ich sie besuchte, nahmen mich später mit zu einer der größten Rhythm-and-Blues-Gruppen ihrer Zeit. Wir selbst hatten eine kleine Gruppe gebildet.

Dieses Hotel ist eine Schenkung der Familie Picasso im Jahr 1985.

 

Es waren vor allem diese Kaufleute, die zur Finanzierung der abstrakten Kunst und des Kubismus beitrugen.

 

Es gibt Werke von Fernand Léger, Max Jacob, Jean Metzinger, Stillleben von Henri Matisse, surreale und metaphysische Fresken von Giorgio de Chirico und andere Werke eines armenischen Malers. Im Picasso-Museum können Sie vor allem die kubistischen und abstrakten Werke von Pablo Picasso betrachten.

 

Picasso war einer der seltenen linken Künstler. Wir können die Forschung in seinem Werk deutlich spüren, diesen Wunsch, dem Akademismus zu entfliehen und neue modernistische und ausdrucksstarke Abenteuer zu wagen.

 

Mein Vater, der eher rechts stand, war einer der größten Maler und Lackierer des letzten Jahrhunderts. Maruja, die Tochter seines Onkels, der republikanischer Bürgermeister von Toro war, war auch eine der zwei oder drei Gründerinnen des spanischen Radio- und Fernsehorchesters ( RTVE ).

 

Sie kannte sehr großartige Musiker, Tschechen, Israelis, Spanier, Deutsche, darunter Narciso Yepès, mit dem sie sehr befreundet war, oder sogar Daniel Barenboïm oder sogar Cobos, den spanischen Dirigenten, in dessen Nähe sie in Madrid oder Salamanca begraben liegt. Am Ende ihres Lebens besaß sie eine Wohnung in Madrid.

 

Sie unternahm triumphale Tourneen mit dem RTVE-Nationalorchester, mit Ravel, allen Sinfonien Beethovens ( eine auf jeder Bühne ), den spanischen Klassikern, Turina, de Falla, Albeniz und so weiter. Sie gab mir eine 33 U/min-Platte, die 5. von Kurt Mazur.

 

Maruja war eine Virtuosin und eine sehr großartige Geigerin, „ la prosora “, wie wir sie nannten. Sie war eher linksgerichtet und zutiefst sozialistisch. Aber das Schicksal verschonte sie nicht, sie verlor wie ihre Mutter ihren Vater, sie musste hart arbeiten. Ich besuchte sie im TMP, wo eine der größten argentinischen Mezzosopranistinnen der Welt auftrat, die in diesem großartigen, außergewöhnlichen argentinischen klassischen Repertoire sang. Das Orchester endete mit Ravel.

 

Meine Familie ist eine Künstlerfamilie. Haben wir familiäre Bindungen zu den Dominguez de la Torres ? Ich weiß es nicht, ich weiß nur, dass ich auch Vorfahren habe, die Dominguez heißen. Die Dominguez de la Torre stammten ebenfalls aus Toro, damals auf Sevran.

 

Heute sind viele große Varieté-Künstler nicht mehr da. Popmusik ist nicht so einfach, wie Sie denken.

 

Heute möchte ich diese künstlerische Familientradition fortführen. Aber dafür müsste ich eine Werkstatt wieder eröffnen, um mich weiterhin mit Lackieren und Dekorieren zu beschäftigen, einem schwierigen und seltenen Beruf.

 

Mir fehlen die Mittel dazu und die Banken sind ziemlich zurückhaltend, wenn es darum geht, Geld zu leihen.

 

Andererseits haben wir fast ein Viertel des Weges im 21. Jahrhundert hinter uns. Wir müssen versuchen, uns in die Zukunft zu projizieren und sie vorherzusehen.

Cuento histórico y filosófico

 

Mi verdadero y real nombre es Christian Diez Axnick Matilla Villar Dominguez… y en mi familia lejana, por parte de mi abuela, encontramos nombres como Schadeck, Hermann, Gotlieb. Tengo ascendencia española, alemana, checa y ucraniana muy antigua.

 

Mi familia por parte de padre, española, es más compacta. Hace unos cuarenta años teníamos unos amigos, de Toro como nosotros, pero sobre todo de Galicia, los Domínguez de la Torre. Se habían mudado a un apartamento en Sevran, cerca de Aulnay.

 

Eran “ Galleguitos ”, como se les llama en español. Mi familia conoció una vez a otra familia, también de Galicia. Todos ellos murieron en un trágico y terrible accidente automovilístico en ese momento, no lejos de Toro.

 

Los Domínguez de la Torre fueron grandísimos músicos, de talla europea. El padre, su esposa, dos gemelos y Téré, su hermana. En su grupo había un baterista, un francés y una francesa, muy buena cantante, como Téré. Cantaron canciones de rock'n roll y variedades, puntuadas por algunas canciones del repertorio gallego. En la época de los títulos del grupo " Il était une fois ". Tuve la oportunidad de ver a Joëlle, la cantante de este grupo, en el hospital de Gonesse, unos años antes de su suicidio. La vi en la sala de emergencias. Fue una gran dama y una gran artista francesa, de origen danés me parece. Su verdadero nombre era Mogensen.

 

Por lo demás, era realmente un grupo muy grande, el baterista cantó rock al principio, canciones de Eddy Mitchel. Tenían dos grandes órganos electrónicos, un profesor de matemáticas y música que los supervisaba durante los conciertos, todo tipo de instrumentos y sobre todo las chicas tenían voces muy bonitas.

 

La señora Domínguez tenía las ideas fijas, tenía a su marido, que nos hacía probar chichas, y a Fermín, un viejo gallego de buen carácter. Ella estaba sufriendo. Dijo que no merecía haber tenido dos hijos gemelos talentosos. Y cuando murió su marido, ella no resistió, se arrojó desde el séptimo piso de la torre donde vivía la familia. Realmente había que tener coraje para hacerlo. Lo hizo por capricho.

 

Así acabó la epopeya de uno de los grandes grupos de variedades y rock'n roll franceses, pero de origen gallega. Los había visto con mi padre, mis hermanos, mi madre y amigos.

 

Entonces, si tengo orígenes españoles lejanos, donde encontramos un Domínguez, ellos realmente estaban en la cima de su arte y variedades en el sentido amplio. Cantar es un sacerdocio, un fin en sí mismo, y realmente fueron grandes artistas y grandes músicos.

 

También fundé un grupo con amigos que vinieron con nosotros a verlos en concierto. Pero no duró.

 

En España, los “ Catedráticos ” son la mayor parte del clero. Bajo el régimen franquista la Iglesia católica vivió unida y unida. El clero estaba muy bien entrenado. Por lo demás, Franco también se alió con los secularistas, los judíos, los musulmanes y los protestantes. Él fue quien hizo la mejor alianza, por lo que duró más que los demás.

 

Las ideas republicanas han quedado desacreditadas, ya sea porque son demagógicas o porque son utópicas. Sin embargo, al margen del socialismo, la república también tuvo sus horas de gloria, pero fue incapaz de tomar y conservar el poder en una España conservadora y tradicionalista.

 

Mi padre era más demócrata, también fue uno de los más grandes pintores y decoradores del siglo pasado.

 

Hoy día, la libertad es total, los grados de libertad se han vuelto más importantes, por todo tipo de razones.

 

La agresión rusa pone en duda la cohesión europea, pone en duda los intereses nacionales y debilita la paz en su conjunto. Una vez más, Ucrania es sacrificada, vilipendiada, acusada y calumniada mientras tantos ucranianos fueron deportados en 39-45.

 

Los rusos han derribado las últimas barreras que aseguraban la paz. Hoy en día a los soldados rusos se les paga para quebrantar el ucraniano, se les alienta a hacerlo.

 

Aquí es donde muchos aprendieron a eludir la iglesia y sus enseñanzas, la catequesis, las virtudes cardinales. Los líderes políticos han llevado a la gente a la guerra. Es un cataclismo y un horror.

 

Mantengo una sensibilidad socialista, porque las ideas de la derecha están en un callejón sin salida. Un mundo artificial hecho de superioridad y demagogia está frenando el avance hacia la paz.

 

La muerte de mi hermano David en 1998-1999, poco antes del milenio, me alejó definitivamente de las aventuras políticas. Vivimos, como decía mi padre, “ en el valle de la muerte ”. La tormenta lo había destruido todo, los tejados, todo. El taller se convirtió en humo.

 

Invertir hoy costaría mucho dinero.

 

Como lo dije, Domínguez de la Torre estuvieron cerca de las cimas de la música popular europea, y los amigos con los que fui a verlos después me llevaron por turnos a ver a uno de los grandes grupos de Rhythm and Blues de la época. Nosotros mismos habíamos formado un pequeño grupo.

 

Fue una banda realmente genial, en parte autodidacta, que se inspiró en parte en Eric Clapton y J.J. Cole. Mustapha, cantante y solista de origen tunecino, como hoy Shiri Maïmon, dirigía la casa. Además, contó con un órgano, extraordinarios solos de saxo y armónica, una sección rítmica y un bajista. Este grupo se mantuvo firme frente a los mayores grupos de Rhythm'n Blues americanos o anglosajones, con muy buenos solos, especialmente en el lado de los metales.

 

Hicieron una gira por Estados Unidos y ganaron más de dos millones por noche. Esto quiere decir que era un grupo muy grande, que empezó pequeño y llegó como profesional.

 

La música también se puede conquistar. Era música moderna realmente genial.

 

Hoy fui a la rue de Thorigny, al Hôtel Aubert de Fontenay, o al Hôtel Salé, para visitar el museo nacional Picasso. No me arrepiento. Estuvieron presentes todos los grandes marchantes de arte de la época, Daniel-Henri Kahnweiler, Léonce Rosenberg y el marchante alemán Wilhelm Uhde, que se ocupó especialmente de Séraphine de Senlis.

 

Este hotel corresponde a una donación realizada por la familia Picasso en 1985.

 

Fueron especialmente estos comerciantes quienes ayudaron a financiar el arte abstracto y el cubismo.

 

Hay obras de Fernand Léger, Max Jacob, Jean Metzinger, naturalezas muertas de Henri Matisse, frescos surrealistas y metafísicos de Giorgio de Chirico y otras obras de un pintor armenio. El Museo Picasso permite sobre todo contemplar las obras cubistas y abstractas de Pablo Picasso.

 

Picasso fue uno de los pocos artistas de izquierda, podemos sentir claramente la investigación en su obra, este deseo de huir del academicismo e intentar nuevas aventuras modernistas y expresivas.

 

Mi padre, que era más de derechas, fue uno de los más grandes pintores y decoradores de lacas del siglo pasado. Maruja, hija de su tío, que fue alcalde republicano de Toro, fue también una de los dos o tres fundadores de la Orquesta de Radio Televisión Española ( RTVE ).

 

Conoció a grandes músicos, checos, israelíes, españoles, alemanes, entre ellos Narciso Yepès, con quien era muy amiga, o incluso Daniel Barenboïm, o incluso Cobos, el director de orquesta español cerca del cual está enterrada, en Madrid o Salamanca. Al final de su vida tuvo un apartamento en Madrid. 

 

Realizó giras triunfales con la orquesta nacional de RTVE, con Ravel, todas las sinfonías de Beethoven ( una en cada etapa ), los clásicos españoles, Turina, de Falla, Albéniz etc.

 

Maruja era una virtuosa y una grandísima violinista, “ la prosora ”, como la llamábamos. Era más bien de izquierdas y profundamente socialista. Pero el destino no la perdonó, al igual que su madre, perdió a su padre, tuvo que trabajar duro. Fui a verla al TMP, donde actuó una de las mezzosoprano argentinas más grandes del mundo, quien cantó este repertorio clásico argentino magníficamente excepcional. La orquesta terminó con Ravel.

 

Mi familia es una familia de artistas. ¿ Tenemos vínculos familiares con los Domínguez de la Torres ? No lo sé, sólo sé que tengo antepasados ​​que se llaman Domínguez también. Los Domínguez de la Torre también eran de Toro, despues en Sevran.

 

Hoy día, muchos grandes artistas de variedades ya no están allí. La música popular no es tan fácil como se cree.

 

Hoy me gustaría continuar con esta tradición artística familiar. Si no fuera por eso, tendría que reabrir un taller para continuar con la laca y la decoración, una profesión difícil y rara.

 

Carezco de medios para hacerlo y los bancos son bastante frioleros en prestar dinero.

 

Por otro lado, estamos casi en una cuarta parte del camino hacia el siglo XXI. Debemos intentar proyectarnos hacia el futuro, y anticiparnos a él.

 

En el pasado trabajé alrededor de diez años con Andrés Serrita, uno de los hijos espirituales de Sabicas. Era entonces uno de los más grandes guitarristas de zambras del mundo. Todavía recuerdo este concierto de Manuel Torres en 1982, cuando reemplazó a Chano Lobato. Un tenor inmenso que cubrió al público por kilómetros.

 

Esa también es la magia de la música. La música no la decretamos, la vivimos y ella vive en nosotros.

Conte historique et philosophique

 

Mon véritable et vrai nom, c'est Christian Diez Axnick Matilla Villar Dominguez … et dans ma famille éloignée, du coté de ma grand-mère, on trouve des noms comme Schadeck, Hermann, Gotlieb. J'ai de très vieux ascendants espagnols, allemands, tchèques, ukrainiens.

 

Ma famille coté paternel, espagnol, est plus compacte. Il y a une bonne quarantaine d'années, nous avions des amis, originaires de Toro comme nous, mais surtout de Galice, Les Dominguez de la Torre. Il avaient aménagé dans un appartement à Sevran, à coté d'Aulnay.

 

C'était des « Galleguitos », comme on les appelle en espagnol. Ma famille a connu dans le temps une autre famille, elle aussi originaire de Galice. Tous ont trouvé la mort dans un tragique et terrible accident de voiture à l'époque, non loin de Toro.

 

Les Dominguez de la Torre étaient de très grands musiciens, de pointure européenne. Le père, sa femme, deux jumeaux, et Téré, leur sœur. Dans leur groupe il y avait un batteur, un français, et une française, une très bonne chanteuse, comme Téré. Il chantaient du rock'n roll et des variétés, ponctuées par quelques chansons du répertoire galicien. A l'époque des titres du groupe « Il était une fois par exemple ». J'ai eu l'occasion de voir Joëlle, la chanteuse de ce groupe, à l'hôpital de Gonesse, quelques années avant son suicide. Je l'avais aperçue aux urgences. C'était une grande dame et une grande artiste française, d'origine danoise il me semble. Son vrai nom était Mogensen.

 

Sinon c'était vraiment un très grand groupe, le batteur chantait du rock en ouverture, des titres d'Eddy Mitchel. Ils avaient deux grands orgues électroniques, un professeur de mathématiques et de musique qui les supervisait lors de concerts, toutes sortes d'instruments, et surtout les filles avaient de très jolies voix.

 

Mme Dominguez avait des idées fixes, elle avait son mari, qui nous avait fait goûter des chichas, et Fermin, un vieillard galicien et débonnaire. Elle souffrait. Elle disait ne pas mériter d'avoir eu deux fils jumeaux surdoués. Et lorsque son mari est mort, elle n'a pas résisté, elle s'est jetée du 7ème étage de la tour oû la famille vivait. Il fallait vraiment avoir du courage pour le faire. Elle l'a fait sur un coup de tête.

 

Ainsi s'est terminée l'épopée d'un des plus grand groupe de variété et de rock'n roll français, mais aux origines galiciennes. Je les avais vu avec mon père, mes frères, ma mère et des amis. Ils chantaient du rock, du rockabily, des variétés françaises, des chanson comme « Santa Lucia » ou « Te canto a Galicia ».

 

Comme quoi si j'ai de lointaines origines espagnoles, oû l'on retrouve un Dominguez, eux étaient vraiment au sommet de leur art et des variétés au sens large. Chanter est un sacerdoce, une fin en soi, et ils étaient véritablement de très grands artistes et de très grands musiciens.

 

J'ai fondé un groupe aussi avec les amis qui étaient venus avec nous les voir en concert. Mais il n'a pas duré.

 

En Espagne, les « Catédraticos » ce sont taillés la part du lion en ce qui concerne le clergé. Sous le régime franquiste, l'église catholique vivait unie et soudée. Le clergé était très bien formé. Sinon, Franco s'est aussi allié aux laïcs, aux juifs, aux musulmans, au protestants. C'est lui qui s'est le mieux allié, alors il a duré plus longtemps que les autres.

 

Les idées républicaines ou été déconsidérées, soit parce que démagogiques, soit parce qu'utopiques. Pourtant, en dehors du socialisme, la république a eu aussi ses heures de gloire, mais elle n'a pas su prendre et conserver le pouvoir dans une Espagne conservatrice et traditionaliste.

 

Mon père était plutôt démocrate, il a été aussi un des plus grands peintre et laqueur décorateur du siècle dernier.

 

Aujourd'hui, la liberté est totale, les degrés de liberté sont devenus plus importants, pour toutes sortes de raison.

 

L'agression russe remet en cause la cohésion européenne, elle remet en cause les intérêts nationaux et fragilise la paix dans son ensemble. Une fois de plus, l'Ukraine est sacrifiée, vilipendée, accusée, calomniée alors que tant d'ukrainiens ont été déportés en 39-45.

 

Les russes ont fait sauter les derniers verrous qui assuraient la paix. Aujourd'hui les soldats russes sont payés pour casser de l'ukrainien, on les y incite.

 

C'est là oû beaucoup ont appris à contourner l'église et son enseignement, la catéchèse, les vertus cardinales. Les dirigeants politiques ont fait filer les peuples vers la guerre. C'est un cataclysme et une horreur.

 

Je garde un sensibilité socialiste, car les idées de la droite sont dans l'impasse. Un monde, artificiel, fait de surenchère et de démagogie freine désormais la marche vers la paix.

 

La mort de mon frère David en 1998-1999, juste peu avant le millénium, m'a définitivement éloigné des aventures politiques. Nous vivons comme le disait mon père « dans la vallée de la mort ». La tempête avait tout saccagé, les toits, tout. L'atelier est parti en lambeaux. Le toit entièrement arraché.

 

Investir aujourd'hui coûterait beaucoup d'argent.

 

Comme je vous l'ai dit, les Dominguez de la Torre ont tutoyé les sommets de la musique populaire européenne, et les amis avec lesquels j'étais allé les voir m'ont plus tard emmené à mon tour voir un des plus grands groupes de rythm'n blues de l'époque. Nous même avions du reste formé un petit groupe.

 

C'était vraiment un très grand groupe, en partie autodidacte, puisant une partie de son inspiration chez Eric Clapton et J.J. Cole. Mustapha, chanteur et soliste d'origine tunisienne, comme Shiri Maïmon aujourd'hui, tenait la baraque. En plus, il y avait un orgue, des solos extraordinaires de sax et d'harmonica, une rythmique et un bassiste. Ce groupe tenait la dragée haute aux plus grands groupe de rythm'n blues américains ou anglo-saxons, avec de très bon solos, notamment au niveau des cuivres.

 

Ils sont partis en tournée en Amérique, et gagnaient plus de deux millions par nuit. C'est dire que c'était un très grand groupe, parti amateur et arrivé professionnel.

 

La musique, ça se conquiert aussi. C'était vraiment de la grande musique moderne.

 

Hier je suis allé rue de Thorigny, à l'hôtel Aubert de Fontenay, ou hôtel Salé, visiter le musée national Picasso. Je ne l'ai pas regretté. Tous les grands marchands d'art de l'époque étaient là, Daniel-Henri Kahnweiler, Léonce Rosenberg et le marchand allemand Wilhelm Uhde, qui s'est notamment occupé de Séraphine de Senlis.

Picasso était un des rares artistes de gauche, on sent bien la recherche dans son œuvre, cette volonté de fuir l'académisme et de tenter de nouvelles aventures modernistes et expressives.

 

Mon père, qui était plutôt à droite, fût un des plus grands peintre et laqueur décorateur du siècle dernier. Maruja, la fille de son oncle, qui fût maire républicain de Toro, fût aussi une des deux ou trois fondatrices de l'orchestre de la radio-télévision espagnole ( RTVE ).

 

Elle connût de très grands musiciens, tchèques, israëliens, espagnols, allemands, dont Narciso Yepès avec lequel elle était très amie, ou encore Daniel Barenboïm, ou encore Cobos, le chef d'orchestre espagnol près duquel elle est enterrée, Salamanque ou plutôt Madrid. A la fin de sa vie, elle avait un appartement à Madrid.

 

J'étais allé l'écouter au consulat d'Espagne ou elle avait joué du violon avec un très grand pianiste tchèque. A l'époque se tenait une exposition sur les gravures de Goya, et les ravages de la guerre.

 

Elle fit des tournées triomphales avec l'orchestre national de le RTVE, avec Ravel, toutes les symphonie de Beethoven ( une à chaque étape ), les classiques espagnols, Turina, de Falla, Albeniz et j'en passe. Elle m'avait offert un disque 33 tr, la 5ème par Kurt Mazur.

 

Maruja était une virtuose et une très grande violoniste, « la prosora », comme nous l'appelions. Elle était plutôt de gauche et profondément socialiste. Mais le destin ne l'a pas épargnée, comme Mere elle a perdu son père, elle a du travailler dur. J'étais allé la voir au TMP, ou s'était produite une des plus grande mezzo-soprano argentine du monde, qui chantait dans ce répertoire classique argentin si magnifiquement exceptionnel. L'orchestre avait terminé par du Ravel.

 

Ma famille est une famille d'artistes. Avons nous des liens familiaux avec les Dominguez de la Torre ? Je l'ignore, je sais simplement que j'ai des ascendants qui s'appellent Dominguez aussi.

Les Dominguez de la Torre étaient de Toro aussi, puis sur Sevran.

 

Aujourd'hui, beaucoup de grands artistes de variété ne sont plus là. La musique populaire, ce n'est pas si facile qu'on le croit.

 

Aujourd'hui, j'aimerai perpétuer cette tradition de famille d'artiste. Mais pour cela, il me faudrait rouvrir un atelier pour continuer dans la laque et la décoration, métier difficile et rare.

 

Je manque de moyens pour le faire, et les banques sont assez frileuses pour prêter de l'argent.

 

D'un autre coté, nous avons presque passé le quart du XXIème siècle. Il faut essayer de se projeter dans l'avenir, et de l'anticiper.

 

J'ai par le passé travaillé une dizaine d'années avec Andrés Serrita, un des fils spirituels de Sabicas. Il était alors un des plus grands guitariste de zambras du monde. Je me souviens encore de ce concert de Manuel Torres en 1982, lorsqu'il avait remplcé Chano Lobato. Un immense ténor qui couvrait l'audience à des kilomètres.

 

La magie de la musique, c'est ça aussi. On ne décrète pas la musique, on la vit et elle vit en nous.

La musique est un langage universel.
